Born in a family of teachers in Albania, Antonela attended “Tefta Tashko Koco” Conservatory until the age of 15, when she and her family moved to North Carolina in the United States. Antonela made her debut in 2010, when she performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with the Winston Salem Symphony. She studied with Entela Kotelli, Dr. Pamela Howland, Dr. John Salmon and Dr. Inara Zandmane.
Prior to moving to the Bay Area (December 2018), she earned the reputation of gifted and versatile collaborator, having worked with many vocalists and instrumentalists in NC, most notably as staff accompanist at Elon University, the pianist at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, and pianist for Stagelights Theatre.
As a pianist, Antonela's aim is to collaborate with vocalists in the Bay Area by participating in their voice lessons, recitals, masterclasses and competitions.
In 2016 Antonela received a grant from the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creativity Office at UNCG, which gave her the opportunity to travel and do research in Milan, Rome, Naples, Venice and other cities of Italy. Antonela graduated with a B.M in Music Performance from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2017. Currently, Antonela is the pianist for Silicon Valley Boychoir and Cupertino Union Church.
